Black Panther Almost 20 years after Blade , hit the big screen, the very first penned black super hero hits the big screen. That’s right, Ryan adaptation of Black Panther is here and it is phenomenal! Now that King T’Chaka (John Kani) was killed as a direct result of Klaw’s actions in the last Captain America: Civil War , T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) returns home to lead his people and assume all of the duties and responsibilities as the new King of Wakanda.  He also must now assume the role of the Black Panther to protect Wakanda and its secret – Vibranium.  However, before he can sit on the throne, he must go through all of the ceremonial rituals. The main ritual is a “challenge” where anyone within the four tribes of royal blood can try to lay claim to the throne. For the past three years, we have had to suffer through this boring and uneventful trilogy. We can now say the Fifty Shades trilogy is FINALLY OVER! Freed begins with the wedding of Anna (Dakota Johnson) and Christian (Jamie Dornan). Throughout the opening credits, we see visuals of Anna’s gown, the rings, Christian’s tux, the “I do’s” the extravagant reception and the lavish honeymoon to Paris. If you have been paying attention, when it comes to Christian Grey, this is the par for the course.  As the newlyweds are enjoying themselves, the honeymoon is cut short when a fire is set in the server room of Grey Enterprises.  Once home, they are met by their household staff and new security. Anna is a little taken aback that she is now in charge of the daily household duties, her newly remodeled office at work, and the new house Christian bought the house for them. Meltdown (Middleburg Film Fest) Unless you have been living under a rock, or you think that global warming is a made up concept so scientist can get more funds, you really need to pay attention. Global warming a real thing and it affects us all! In the late 1980’s, renowned photographer Lynn Davis travelled to Disko Bay, Greenland to mourn the passing of two of her dear friends and ended up falling in love with the shapes, frames and different aspects of the icebergs. This new love spanned into a 30-year career of photographing the icebergs and having them exhibited in art galleries around the world. To her surprise, she was not just taking pictures of the different shapes of the icebergs, but she documenting the evidence of global warming.
